Loading an Audio File to Google Drive From Your Phone

Whether you are doing a downloadpodcast or a musical performance, loading an audio file to google  Drive is a very simple task no matter what device you are using.

If you are using a smart phone/tablet, download the Google Drive App before completing the steps below:

 

Android Voice Recorder to Google Drive

On your Android device go to Tools

  1. In tools, open your voice recorder
  2. Make a Voice recordingandroid
  3. After you have made the voice recording click “share”
  4. Share your recording with your drive
  5. Give your recording a name

iPhone/iPad  Voice Memos to Google Classroom

  1. Record yourself in voice memos
  2. Save your recording as your name
  3. Click on the share button (rectangle with an arrow pointing up)
  4. Click on the Google Dive icon
  5. Share your recording with your drive

Motorola Phones

  1. Download the smart voice recorder app onto your phone

  3. After you have made the voice recording click “share”
  4. Share your recording with your drive
  5. Give your recording a name

 

Adding sound in Moovly

Adding sound in Moovly is very simple however you need to be in Moovly Classic to add sound. There are 3 ways to add sound:

    1. Upload an MP3 file to your Personal Library using the small speaker icon you find on the bottom left-hand side of the Editor.  Make sure you possess the copyright of the sounds you upload! Read Moovly’s Terms & Conditions for more information.

Follow these instructions  if you want to download recording from your phone to your Google Drive (for the Chromebooks)

    2. Import a sound from the Moovly Marketplace. All music samples and sounds there are copyright-free.
    3.  Record your sound (e.g. your voice) using the small Microphone icon you find on the bottom left-hand side of the Editor. Below is a video describing how to do this:

logo3 Email_500Moovly is a multimedia platform that enables you to create engaging multimedia content by allowing you to create videos and presentations using their extensive animated content library or adding your own images, movies & sounds. It is a great alternative to Powtoon & GoAnimate and because it is a cloud-based digital media content creation platform so you don’t need to download any software to use it. Completed projects can be downloaded, stored in the online Moovly User Gallery or published on social media (ex. YouTube & Facebook)  

Creating an Account:

You can create a Moovly account using your LMTSD  Google Domain Email Address.

  2. Click on “Google Login” & agree to the conditions and start creating your first project

Creating a Project

Creating a project with Moovly is very easy, just follow the steps below:

  1. From your dashboard click new project to start creating new content enter a title & a description and click continueScreen Shot 2017-03-27 at 1.19.37 PM
  2. Next select the kind of animated content you wish to create an animated video, a presentation or a display ad. If you are not sure you can click “Just Let Me In” Next you will be prompted to name your Moovly & give it a description. You can also choose from a template library or create one from scratch.

  3. After the Moovly editor window pops up there are several tools that you can use. On the left-hand side of the editor you will find the object library that contains many graphical objects that you can use to create your content.   4. Once you have your object on the stage you can position it, resize it or rotate it until it is in the position you like. Some objects have additional properties that you can adjust in the properties panel for example to change the color of your object.

  5. You can also add text objects first click the text icon and then click where you want to put your text, enter your words & adjust the size, font & color in the properties panel.

  6. Once you have a few objects on the stage you can easily add animation to do that you need to use the timeline notice that there is a separate line for every object that you have put on the stage. The gray bar shows the overall timing of an object and indicates where it will appear and disappear. You can move this bar horizontally & make it longer or shorter. Click the little arrow left of the object name to open or close its animation options. When you click “choose animation” you will see a menu with all of the animations that you can apply. For example, select hand drawing to have your object drawn by hand.

  7. When you have chosen an object the timing appears in the timeline, you can change this timing by dragging the stop & start bullets horizontally this way you can perfectly synchronize your objects with sound, voice or other objects.Screen Shot 2017-03-23 at 3.07.16 PM
